from the attic studio:
I set up a tiny recording studio under the roof of our house in a village near Berlin.
And bought a saxophone.
Now there ist allready the second tenor saxophone, and a soprano saxophone was added. Later I learned the flugelhorn and trumpet.
It creates small, jazzy, easy-listening pieces that I often delete when they're done.
The doing is the pleasure.
But some things I leave behind, because sometimes others enjoy it, and you can't achieve more.
Unfortunately, making music yourself does not go beyond the limits that are obviously set on one's own ability,
no matter how much you practice and learn. But it greatly increases the appreciation of other music.
If you make music yourself, you hear more in the music of others.
I am exhibiting a few pieces and wish you like it. Maybe it gives inspiration for your own music-making!
